The name of this artist who I am inspired by is Maja Wronska. She is an artist that was born in Warsaw, Poland, but she paints cityscapes from all around Europe. She is best known for her paintings of cityscapes using watercolors but she also paints other things as well such as plants, birds, etc. She is also an architect but she is most widely known for her vibrant watercolor work. As for her history, she graduated from Faculty of Architecture, Warsaw University of Technology. As for how she creates her pieces, she first makes each piece as a detailed drawing and then adds layers of watercolor. Whenever I was looking for an artist that inspired me, as soon as I saw her work, I was immediately drawn in. In the first picture seen below, I was drawn in by the use of beautiful colors and incredible detail of the cityscape. As for the piece below it, I was very drawn in by the amount of detail and how realistic, yet artistic her work was. I could see her point of view and what she was portraying when painting. I found her work inspiring because when looking at it, it gave me these beautiful pops of color and detail. The passion you can see in her work inspired me because she can take an image she has of a cityscape and put that down on canvas in a magnificent way and it makes me want to use watercolors and be able to express myself and what I see in a way as beautiful as this.
